Dear Colleagues:
Hopefully this correspondence finds you and your families in good health. After much discussion and consideration we have concluded that it is in the best interest of the Association and its membership to hold off attempting a Galvanizers Association Annual Meeting until 2022. Corporate, coupled with continued international travel restrictions along with capacity restraints due to social distancing requirements are just some of the reasons contributing to this decision. The Galvanizers Association is about relationships and the meeting’s success requires the ability for the entire membership to be able to participate and have a meaningful takeaway.
Currently, we are exploring locations for a meeting to be held in Spring 2022, this will be an exposition year and notice will be sent out and posted to the website, shortly, once plans are finalized. In the meantime, I invite you to begin the process of submitting abstracts for presentation. At the very least give us a heads up of your intention to make a presentation, as it’s been a couple years, we may have a significant number to consider and would like to know sooner than later.
Looking forward to hearing from you all… but more importantly seeing you in the near future.
Best regards,
Christopher Nevison
Executive Director
